As a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional with more than 25 years of nursing experience, I have consistently followed excellence in patient care, specializing in wound management and operating room procedures. My professional journey, start with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dipolog Medical Center in the Philippines, has directed me to serve in various capacities across prominent healthcare institutions in Saudi Arabia, including King Khalid University Hospital and Riyadh Military Hospital.
I am currently serving as the Head Nurse in the Specialized Practice Unit for Wound Care, Colostomy, and Tracheostomy, I am deeply committed to improving the quality of life for patients through evidence-based wound care practices. My clinical work is grounded in comprehensive patient assessments, individualized treatment planning, and collaborative interdisciplinary care. I am also an active contributor to professional development and policy improvement initiatives within my unit, and regularly lecture and mentor newly employed staff.
Beyond clinical care, I strive for continuous growth. I have completed multiple international certifications and training, such as the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course and the European Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel Conference. These have reinforced my ability to integrate global standards into my local practice.
Motivated by empathy, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to lifelong learning, I aim to advance my career in a dynamic environment that challenges my skills and enables me to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes, staff development, and the overall quality of healthcare services. I am currently preparing to engage in research within my area of specialization, with the goal of collaborating with industry partners to produce evidence-based findings. I intend to publish this work in peer-reviewed journals and present it at both national and international conferences. I remain dedicated to leading initiatives that enhance nursing practice and promote excellence in patient care.
