Salvacion Cruz

Salvacion Cruz is currently working as the team leader for Wound Care at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Abu Dhabi, UAE. She is passionate on this field for 20 years. She is the past Vice President of the Filipino Nurses Association in the Emirates (FNAE). She is the Facilitator of the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC) Abu Dhabi from 2012 up to 2022. Served as Regional Director in Middle East for the International Skin Tear Advisory Panel (ISTAP) and finished her term last April 2025. She is the current Director (UAE) of International Interprofessional Wound Care Group (IIWCG). She is the Chair of SEHA Nursing Advisory Group for Wound Care. She is also the International Delegate (UAE) for the World Council of Enterostomal Therapists (WCET). She presented as speaker from several wound care conferences, symposiums, in-services and education training. She was co-author some published articles in Wounds International and WCET.

She completed her masters for Clinical Skin Integrity and Wound Management at University of Hertfordshire in UK. In 2009, Salvacion has completed the International Interprofessional Wound Care Course from University of Toronto-KSA.
